1. Information We Collect
To provide accurate Vedic Astrology predictions, chart generations, and real-time consultations, we collect the following information:
- Birth Details: Name, gender, date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth. These credentials are mathematically processed to calculate planetary transit degrees, Lagna (ascendant) charts, Rashi (moon sign) charts, and Varga (divisional) charts (such as Navamsha D9 for marriage and Dashamsha D10 for career).
- Voice Consultation Audio Streams: When you use the real-time AI Voice Consultation (Guru K.P. Shastri AI), your voice audio streams are securely transmitted to our backend to generate instant text translations and astrological responses. These streams are processed on-the-fly and are not stored permanently on our servers.
- Wallet Transactions & Payment Information: Transactions for recharging your wallet (buying coin packages) are processed securely via third-party certified gateways (e.g. Razorpay). We do not store your credit card or bank login details on our servers; only tokenized transaction status and wallet balances are stored securely in our database.
- Device Information: Operating system, network data, and push tokens to deliver personalized daily horoscope notifications based on your Moon sign (Rashi).
2. How We Use Your Information
Your details are processed strictly for the following purposes:
- To calculate and display your Vedic birth charts (Kundli) and compatibility matchings (Matchmaking).
- To connect you with live astrologers (like Guru K.P. Shastri or Acharya Chandrakant Sharma) or the AI Astrologer Assistant via phone calls or chat.
- To manage your wallet consulting balances, bill consults per minute, and prevent fraudulent recharges.
- To deliver automated daily notifications based on your birth coordinates.
3. Data Security
AstroVasu utilizes SSL-encrypted protocols (HTTPS/WSS) for all web and mobile API requests. Your chart details, chat logs, and wallet balances are safely stored in secure databases hosted on our remote VPS. Access to private account details is strictly authorized via custom JWT token keys.
